The Ultimate King Double is our biggest swag: 1500mm wide with a full metre of headroom. It sleeps two adults properly, or gives one person room to spread out with their gear inside. Like the king single, it's a freestanding dome, so it stands up without guy ropes, and it's designed in Australia for touring and 4WD adventure.
Room for two
Set up: 2100mm L × 1500mm W × 1000mm H.
1000mm of headroom at both ends. Two people can sit up at once, and getting dressed inside on a cold morning is easy.
Full-length doors on both sides, so nobody climbs over anyone to get out at night.
Pitching
Curved 10.2mm aluminium hoop poles at each end and a heavy-duty telescopic spreader bar along the ridge hold the shape. Once it's up you can lift it onto the best patch of ground before pegging. Stainless steel rings at each corner take the supplied pegs on windy nights.
Built for Australian weather
420gsm poly-cotton canvas in Stockman Brown, double stitched throughout.
500gsm PVC bucket floor with raised sides against wet ground.
Full-length roof rainfly included for long rain, and to stop water pooling on the roof.
Storm flaps over the full-length side zips.
Insect mesh windows at both ends under rain hoods, so the air keeps moving in humid weather.
Side doors prop open with the supplied poles for shade and airflow.
An 80mm mattress
The mattress is 80mm thick: 30mm of egg-crate comfort foam over 50mm of high-density support foam. The canvas cover zips off for washing.
Packing up
It rolls into a heavy-duty PVC carry bag, 1600mm L × 480mm diameter, with room to leave bedding inside. On your own most of the time? The Ultimate King Single Swag Gen 2 is the same design at 1000mm wide.
