The mug is wonderful. Keeps heat at the level of branded expensive mugs, almost like a thermos. At work, I brewed tea with cold water because waiting for a comfortable temperature can take until the end of the day. The lid is tight but not airtight - it leaks through the valve. But if you tip it over and immediately lift it up, the table will be dry. Overall satisfied, but this mug is for outdoor tea or cold settings. Because in a warm space, thermal insulation is excessive. But for cold drinks - perfect!
